How to View Data Sources History

1 min read

You can track all changes made to your data sources, including edits, field updates, sharing changes, and more.

Open History (All Data Sources) #

Go to History in the left sidebar and open the Data sources history tab.

Here you can see:

  • All changes across all data sources
  • Who made the change
  • When it was made
  • What exactly was changed

You can also:

  • Use search to find specific data sources
  • Filter by:
    • Ownership (All / My data sources / Shared with me)
    • Date

Open History for a Specific Data Source #

You can also view history for a single data source:

  1. Go to Data Sources
  2. Click ⋯ (three dots) next to a data source
  3. Select History

What You Can See in History #

Each record includes:

  • Date – when the change happened
  • User – who made the change
  • Data Source Name
  • Action – e.g., added fields, deleted fields, shared data source
  • Changes – detailed list of what was modified

This helps track configuration updates and understand how a data source evolved over time.

💡 Notes #

  • History includes all major actions:
    • Field additions/removals
    • Name changes
    • Sharing updates
  • Use filters to quickly find relevant changes in large environments
