Early access. Power BI Connector for HubSpot is currently in review for listing on the HubSpot Marketplace. In the meantime we’re offering early-access installations — reach out via Contact Support for an installation link. Compliance documentation is available in the Metrica Trust Center.

1.1.0 — July 22, 2026 #

Added #

  • Full ERD (full schema view). A bird’s-eye view of every HubSpot object the connector works with, including this portal’s custom objects and custom events. See Preview ERD.

Changed #

  • A subset of HubSpot Private App scopes is now optional during authorization — the default permission footprint is smaller, and you only grant what you actually need.
  • Removed unused scopes from the app’s permission list.
  • Various UI refinements across the connector.

Fixed #

  • Changing the owner of a shared data source now correctly propagates to users the data source is shared with. Previously, some shared users could see stale ownership information after a transfer.

Initial release — early access #

The feature set available at the start of early access:

  • HubSpot object export. Create data sources from any HubSpot object — contacts, companies, deals, tickets, custom objects, custom events — with field-level selection. See Create a Data Source.
  • Preview ERD. View entity-relationship diagrams at three granularities: per data source, per HubSpot module, or the full schema. See Preview ERD.
  • Data source sharing. Share data sources with other users in your HubSpot account with read-only access. See Share a Data Source.
  • Personal access tokens. Per-user access tokens with configurable expiry policy and revocation. See Manage Access Tokens and Configure the Token Expiry Policy.
  • Row-level filtering. Server-side row filtering applied at query time so unfiltered rows never travel over the wire. See Filter Rows.
  • Incremental refresh support. Compatible with Power BI incremental refresh for efficient handling of large datasets. See Set Up Incremental Refresh in Power BI.
  • History and audit log. Per-data-source and per-token history entries for compliance and troubleshooting. See History.
  • Access control via HubSpot Connected apps. Access to the connector is managed by a HubSpot Super Admin from the Connected apps settings. Inside the connector, User and Admin roles govern what each signed-in user can do. See Application Permissions Setup.

Notes on versioning #

Power BI Connector for HubSpot follows semantic versioning. Major version increments indicate changes that may require administrator attention during upgrade; minor versions add functionality; patch versions deliver fixes and refinements. Where a release introduces changes that affect installed configurations, this page calls them out explicitly.
